Press Release Body: Reston, Va., [August 7, 2008] Applied Knowledge Group, Inc.
(AKG) will host a seminar, Turbo Charge Knowledge Sharing with Geospatial Data
Visualization in SharePoint, to help government and businesses learn how this
exciting technology can significantly extend the value of their SharePoint
implementation. This seminar will demonstrate solutions that render geospatial
images overlaid with a variety of critical data points. Often called "mashups," data
visualization brings clarity to data, and translates it into meaningful knowledge.
Geospatial mashups allow you to easily paint a powerful picture to demonstrate the
impact of the data points in various scenarios.

The Seminar will be September 5, 2008, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the
Microsoft Office in Washington D.C. Due to high demand, advance registration is
required. IDV Solutions, an AKG software partner, will co-host the seminar. The
event will include exciting demonstrations of geospatial solutions built in
SharePoint. AKG will demonstrate solutions using Microsoft SilverlightTM technology
and IDV will show solutions built with their exclusive Visual Fusion SuiteTM
software.

Jim O'Farrell, AKG's Chief Operating Officer, commented that, "We are excited to
demonstrate our expertise in creating geospatial data visualizations with both IDV's
Visual Fusion Suite and Microsoft's Silverlight technology. Combined with the
excellent map tools available, these are remarkable technologies that offer a wide
range of advantages to both government and business. Use of these tools is taking
off in both the public and private sectors because visual imagery is so powerful. We
are proud to be able to share our knowledge and help serve the mission of both
government and business."
